About the role

The Credit Portfolio Manager / Analyst is a key member of the rapidly growing team. 

The role will be particularly focused on managing the overall existing loan book and all of the underlying clients. The role will be fast paced and multi-faceted and is vital in ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop understanding of the existing portfolio and identify and resolve any potential issues with positions or clients
  • Manage all portfolio changes across interest rate changes, repayments and missed payments and ensure smooth running of the portfolio
  • Work with borrower origination team on new clients and transactions to ensure that as the portfolio grows, the process and service remains the same high standard
  • Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance customer experience and customer return. 

Skills and experience

To effectively perform this position, the successful candidate will require the following:

Knowledge

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in credit management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian alternative investment market (preferably RG146 compliant)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of private credit is beneficial.

Experience

  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in relationship management, credit and credit analysis in financial services
  • Experience in non-bank lending is beneficial, with deep understanding of credit and settlement processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and clients
  • Experience in the presentation of data analysis to management.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree considered to be an advantage
  • Post graduate qualifications will be valuable.
