About the role
The Credit Manager position is a key member of our rapidly growing team.
This role is primarily focused on driving the growth of our SME loan book through expert credit analysis and relationship management.
Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessment for potential SME borrowers.
- Support the Managing Director & Head of Loan Origination in developing the SME portfolio, including identifying strategic business opportunities and new relationships.
- Manage the borrower pipeline for loan origination, ensuring timely and accurate credit decisions.
- Present regular updates on the loan origination portfolio and pipeline to the executive team.
- Ensure all loan security is appropriately documented and in order.
Skills and experience
Qualifications
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in consumer and business lending or a related field.
- Experience in SME lending or SME business management, with a proven ability to build and maintain valuable relationships in this sector.
- Proven ability to manage the credit and assessment process.
- Experience in presenting data analysis to management.
- Undergraduate degree considered an advantage; postgraduate qualifications in credit analysis will be valuable.
