Head of Sales

- Hybrid working (2 days per week in the office): WFH and from open plan offices.
Key responsibilities.
- Deliver agreed Capspace annual sales targets for loans to SME clients and Funds Under Management (FUM).
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company goals in both SME lending and investor acquisition.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with brokers, investors, potential clients and key partners.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Collaborate with the operations team to continually improve the sales process.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales campaigns and materials.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management & the board.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Skills and experience.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership, in financial services and fund management industry.
- Proven track record in building sales teams and achieving financial success.
- Strong understanding of SME lending.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
