About the role

The Investment Manager position is a key member of the rapidly growing team.

The role will be particularly focused on driving the growth of the funds under management (FUM). The role involves a balance between raising additional investment funds and investor relationship management.

Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support Managing Director & Head of Investments in growing the FUM including identifying strategic business opportunities and new relationships
  • Manage the investor pipeline from origination to onboarding including responsibility for maintaining the pipeline and presenting regular updates to management
  • Maintain and improve the investment portfolio management including data input, analysis and reporting
  • Ensure all investments are appropriately documented and in order.

Skills and experience

To effectively perform this position, the successful candidate will require the following:

Knowledge

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian investment alternatives (preferably RG146 compliant)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of private credit
  • Demonstrated knowledge of investment management.

Experience

  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in investment relationship development leading to successful capital raising
  • Experience in private credit or similar (fixed income) including demonstrated ability to build and maintain valuable relationships in this sector
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the investment process from deal origination to documentation and onboarding
  • Experience in the presentation of data analysis to management.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree considered to be an advantage
  • Post graduate qualifications in investment will be valuable.
